Status: Completed
Royal First Dermatology Clinic is a leading medical facility in Abu Dhabi, providing advanced dermatology and aesthetic treatments with state-of-the-art technology. The clinic’s medical and diagnostic equipment requires continuous and stable power to ensure uninterrupted patient care and safe operation of sensitive medical devices. Reliable power backup solutions are essential to maintain equipment performance and prevent operational downtime.
The clinic required a dependable UPS system to protect critical dermatology and laboratory equipment from power interruptions and fluctuations. The primary challenge was to design and install a UPS setup that could deliver 30 minutes of full-load backup, ensure high reliability, and seamlessly integrate with existing electrical infrastructure without disrupting ongoing operations.
ACDC Integrated Electrical Solutions supplied and installed two sets of AEC UPS systems — 6 kVA and 10 kVA Online Double Conversion Tower UPS units — each paired with an external battery cabinet for extended runtime.
The systems were designed for 30 minutes of backup at full load, providing comprehensive protection for the clinic’s critical devices. The project also included all necessary cabling, breakers, installation, commissioning, and testing by certified engineers and technicians.
The work was executed efficiently with full compliance to safety and technical standards, ensuring uninterrupted clinic operations during and after installation.
